MSC follows the path of Wall Street ratings agencies. Current Yukon River Situation: 1)No commercial king fishery in 10+ years on middle and upper Yukon. Lower Yukon king fishery stands down for 2 years. 2) Canadian cross border escapement significantly under escaped in 2007, 2008, and 2010.
3) Kings making it to Eagle village average weight 12 lbs. Down 9 lbs. from 1990 pre pollock trawl era. 4) Pollock fishery quota and drag time increasing next year. 5)MSC prepares to certify Russian pollock as sustainable. Never under estimate the human potential for greed. MSC is a farce.

MSC is a farce. So long sustainable fisheries, so long treaties, so long integrity.
